Veel Hoeden is a new coworking facility in Pella, IA. I don't know much about the facility. I just learned about it from a comment on the Global Coworking Blog.
The coworking facility name, Veel Hoeden, means "many hats" in Dutch. I think it's a great name for a coworking space.
Pella is a town of roughly 10,000 residents. It was founded in 1847 by Dutch immigrants seeking religous freedom.
The Dutch influence is still there, as you can see from the picture below. They even have Tulip Feastival, which I found about by reading the 40 page Pella vistors guide.
Coworking is often thought of as a big city movement. But as Veel Hoeden shows, it's also for small towns.
I'd be happy to provide you more info on our space in Pella. We've been running since October of 2010 and currently have about a dozen people using our space on a regular basis.
